Our Speech Pathologists provide assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and management in the areas of communication and swallowing.

We work with people who have difficulty communicating due to developmental disorders, brain injuries, learning disability, intellectual disability, dementia and hearing loss, as well as other problems that can affect speech and language.

Our Speech Pathologists manage one or more of the following communication and swallowing difficulties:

Communication Skill Services

Our Speech Pathologists are trained in leading evidence-based practices and use these therapies and techniques to support:

• Receptive, expressive or pragmatic language
• Motor Speech Disorders Dysarthria and Apraxia
• Literacy and phonological skills
• Articulation and clarity in speech
• Functional voice disorders
• Augmentative and alternative communication – using iPads, dedicated speech generating devices, Picture Exchange Communication System and signing.

Swallowing Support Services

We are here to support you and your family manage swallowing difficulties, whether it be coughing and or choking when eating and drinking, or difficulty with chewing and swallowing food or drink.
